DAY 1
THE FIRST JOURNEY
11th June
~370 miles

After a relaxed breakfast, we rendezvous with any guests opting for the early Sunday morning train. Once the group is fully assembled, our first day on the road is all about munching kilometres. We’ll utilize the efficient French motorway network—perfectly timed on a Sunday to avoid commercial trucks—for a smooth run south. We will arrive at our first premium hotel stopover in the Burgundy region.

Leaving the wine country behind, we drop south to officially join the sweeping bends of the historic Route Napoléon. Timed perfectly on a Monday to bypass heavy weekend traffic, this spectacular road traces the emperor’s historic march through the mountains. By the afternoon, we will descend into the sun-drenched hills behind the French Riviera, checking into our luxury spa hotel basecamp in Provence for a three-night stay.

We have two full mid-week days in the Provence hinterland to spend exactly how you wish. We’ll be leading optional morning driving routes exploring the dramatic drop-offs of the famous local gorges or the fiery red volcanic rock of the coastal corniches. Alternatively, you can leave the keys in your room to enjoy the hotel’s spa facilities, or relax on a beach.

Today we leave our French hub and head into the mountains to tackle the incredibly tight, legendary hairpins of one of the region’s most famous rally stages. From the summit, you could drop down to Monaco to experience the iconic F1 tunnel and casino square. We’ll then take the stacked coastal cliffside roads across the border into Italy, arriving at our 5-star hotel on the Italian Riviera for a three-night stay.

The next two days offer the perfect mix of Dolce Vita glamour and technical driving. Join our optional morning routes either turning inland to the Ligurian Apennines and the rugged Italian coastline. THE AUTOMOTIVE HERITAGE RUN
18th June

We leave the coast behind and drive north over the mountains toward the automotive capital of Piedmont. We offer two distinct routes today: a fast highway blast for an early afternoon access to an iconic, historic rooftop test track in the city, or a sweeping grand tour through the empty vineyard roads of the Langhe region. We reunite near the city center for a one-night stay at our hotel.

DAY 9
THE ALPINE CROSSING
19th June
~160 miles

With empty mid-week roads ahead, we leave the city early and head west to climb a sweeping alpine pass, driving past its stunning summit lake. From here you can take various shortcuts if you wish to the pristine shores of Lake Annecy, checking into a magnificent hotel right on the water to begin a relaxing two-night stay by the lake.
