Day 1
PRE-TOUR
THE MEETING POINT
~300 miles, 5-6 hours driving time
We’ll arrange your channel tunnel crossing at a time that suits you and your journey in the UK. You can either take an early crossing on the first day of the tour, or for a more relaxed start to your holiday you can take the crossing the day/evening before and spend the evening with us in our hotel just 10 minutes drive from the terminal in Calais.
After a short spell on the A roads to a lakeside lunch stop we’ll take to the exciting French ‘D’ roads, taking a route through the Jura Mountains not far from the Swiss border. Our hotel for the night will be in Annecy, where we’ll be there in time to wander into town, explore the lakeside and grab some dinner.

The afternoon will involve a cruise through the Aosta region to get us to our hotel for three nights, nestled in between the western lakes of Lugano, Como and Maggiore. Time to unpack your bags!
