We’ll meet in Liverpool and take the overnight ferry on Wednesday 3rd September.
If you would prefer to take the day ferry and have overnight accommodation instead in Belfast, get in touch and we can advise.
Day 1
DAY 1
CAUSEWAY COASTAL ROUTE

~300 miles, 5-6 hours driving time
After regrouping at a prearranged meeting point, our day will take us around the coast of Northern Ireland on the Causeway Coastal Route. It’s a stunning drive, and we’ll have the chance to visit the Giant’s Causeway, as well as several other scenic waypoints.

DAY 2
NORTHERN DONEGAL
~300 miles, 5-6 hours driving time
~180 miles of driving
Today we’ll head out of Northern Ireland, taking the short ferry to the Malin Peninsula and winding out way along the coastline.
We’ll hug the coast, taking in the highlights of this northern leg of the West Atlantic Way, including Fanad Head Lighthouse and the Glenveagh National Park.

SOUTHERN DONEGAL

~300 miles, 5-6 hours driving time
Today we’ll be heading through the fantastic Glenveagh National Park, which offers some fantastic driving roads. After a coastal drive we’ll visit a local distillery where you will get the chance to pre-book a guided tour.
In the afternoon there will be more mountain driving followed by a visit to one of Ireland’s most scenic beaches.
Ireland – day 4 & 5

INLAND IRELAND
~140 miles of driving
~260 miles, 3-4 hours driving time
We’ll be driving inland across the heart of Ireland, over a couple of passes and reaching our last hotel on Lake Ree.
We’ll have a group meal tonight – a great chance to share our favourite moments of the trip.

DAY 5
DUBLIN
~80 miles of driving
~300 miles, 5-6 hours driving time
On our last day we’ll head for our afternoon ferry crossing in Dublin.
You can either head straight into the city before embarking in the afternoon, stay at the hotel for the morning and enjoy the facilities, or we’ll take a last scenic drive before reaching the ferry.
We’ll see you on the ferry for one last Guinness before we say farewell!
