We’ll meet in Liverpool and take the overnight ferry on Wednesday 3rd September.
If you would prefer to take the day ferry and have overnight accommodation instead in Belfast, get in touch and we can advise.
Day 1
DAY 1
CAUSEWAY COASTAL ROUTE

~300 miles, 5-6 hours driving time
After regrouping at a prearranged meeting point, our day will take us around the coast of Northern Ireland on the Causeway Coastal Route. It’s a stunning drive, and we’ll have the chance to visit the Giant’s Causeway, as well as several other scenic waypoints.

COUNTY DONEGAL
~300 miles, 5-6 hours driving time
~320 miles of driving
Today we’ll head out of Northern Ireland, taking the short ferry to Malin Head, the most northern point in Ireland.
We’ll hug the coast west and south, taking in the highlights of this northern leg of the West Atlantic Way, including Fanad Head Lighthouse and the Glenveagh National Park.

MAYO & GALWAY

~300 miles, 5-6 hours driving time
We’ll continue our journey down the Wild Atlantic Way, finishing the day in County Galway.
Our first stop will be at Slieve Leage, a 1,972-foot oceanfront mountain offering sweeping views of the surrounding cliffs & the sea. Vistas don’t get much more dramatic than this!

GALWAY & CLARE

~260 miles, 3-4 hours driving time
Today we head to the most southerly point on our trip – the famous Moher Cliffs in County Clare.
Walk along the coastal paths and explore the raw beauty of this stunning area, or visit one of the many charming local towns.
You might enjoy the local Irish music scene in the lively village of Doolin, or the Falls Hotel & Spa in Ennistymon.

INLAND IRELAND & DUBLIN
~170 miles of driving
~300 miles, 5-6 hours driving time
On our last day we’ll be driving inland across the heart of Ireland for our evening ferry crossing in Dublin.
You can either head straight into the city for the afternoon before embarking in the evening, or take your time with us and enjoy the last drive and some of the many wonderful places en route.
We’ll see you on the ferry for one last Guiness before we say farewell!
