At Land’s End, the westernmost tip of mainland England, we’ll be able to watch the sun set on the day before the summer solstice. With the light melting into the vast Atlantic, it’s a moment to pause and simply take in the beauty of nature at its finest.

Let the adventure begin
Our tour officially starts at a hotel near Exeter on Thursday 20th June. We’ll have a briefing at 8:30am and a 9am departure.
If you’re coming from further afield, you’ll have the option to book into our hotel on the night of the 19th so that you are ready for our adventure.
Day 1
DAY 1
NORTH CORNWALL COASTLINE

~300 miles, 5-6 hours driving time
Our journey today includes rugged cliff tops and peaceful, pristine coves. We’ll stop at many interesting points, including Holywell Bay and Tintagel, with its mystical connections to King Arthur and Merlin.
If you wish, you can visit St. Ives before carrying on along the rugged coast to Land’s End, our stopping point for the night.
We’ve high hopes that the weather will allow for a fantastic sunset, with a meal and stay at the Land’s End Hotel, perched on the cliffs at the most westerly point in the United Kingdom.
Cornwall – day 2 & 3

SOUTH CORNWALL

~110 miles of driving
After a relaxing evening at Land’s End, we’ll explore the south coast of Cornwall on the way to our next hotel on the edge of Dartmoor National Park.
We’ll visit Porthcurno, a beautiful cove and beach known for its history as a major international submarine communications cable station.
We’ll also drive around the Lizard Peninsula – the most southerly point in the United Kingdom – before following the coastline past Falmouth and St Austell.

DAY 3
NORTHERN DEVON
~150 miles of driving
~300 miles, 5-6 hours driving time
Today we’ll be heading for Northern Devon, hugging the coastline on some fantastic coastline roads. We’ll be staying mostly on smaller, picturesque roads, stopping in some of the most scenic points and villages on this spectacular drive.
By afternoon we’ll be driving through the Exmoor National Park and Quantock Hills.
Our trip ends with a farewell meal at our final hotel in Somerset.

HOMEWARD BOUND

~260 miles, 3-4 hours driving time
We’ll be heading our separate ways today. You could visit landmarks such as Stonehenge or Cheddar Gorge on your trip back home, or spend a little time relaxing at your hotel before you head off.
