Scotland – pre tour
Day 1
THE DAY BEFORE
The Meeting Point
Let the adventure begin

We’ll be meeting at our first hotel, just north of Perth, and you can elect to spend the night here with us. This is a great chance to meet the rest of the group, enjoy a good meal together and prepare ourselves for our tour. Or if you prefer, you can meet us first thing in the morning for the start of the trip.

Day 1
DAY 1
Western Highlands
~110 miles of driving
~300 miles, 5-6 hours driving time

After a tour briefing we’ll head west straight for the highlands. After a drive through Rannoch Moor and Glen Coe we’ll head onto the quiet roads of Loch Leven and the Ardnamurchan Peninsula. We’ll be finishing our day returning on the ‘Road To The Isles’ and heading for our hotel on the shore of Loch Lochy.

Ireland – day 2 & 3
Day 1
DAY 2
Ross & Cromarty
~300 miles, 5-6 hours driving time
~180 miles of driving

From our hotel the morning’s drive will take us north, weaving our way past the Eileen Donan castle and the famous Applecross Pass. After lunch, the wonderful roads to Torridon, Lochinver and Gairloch await, and we’ll hug this gorgeous coastline until we reach Loch Broom and our hotel in Ullapool, where we’ll stay for two nights.

Day 1
DAY 3
The Assynt
~110 miles of driving
~300 miles, 5-6 hours driving time

We’ll be heading into far north-western Scotland today. The vistas become incredible as we explore the incredibly remote region known as The Assynt. You’ll be lucky to see many other cars up here, as a mix of different roads and driving styles takes us as far as the Kylesku Bridge, an iconic viewpoint on the NC500. Expect epic roads, unbelievable mountain scenery and beautiful white-sand beaches.

Scotland – day 4
Day 1
DAY 4
Cairngorms
~380 miles, 5-6 hours driving time
~260 miles, 3-4 hours driving time

Today we head south, back towards civilisation and home. We have a great route planned for today, bringing us out of the north west highlands south, heading down past Loch Ness and the Great Glen before heading for the Cairngorms. We’ll travel the ‘Snow Road’, made up in part of General Wade’s Old Military Roads. We’ll finish our tour in Perthshire, in the same hotel we started our tour at. There will be a group meal organised – a great chance to reminisce about your favourite parts of the tour before saying our goodbyes in the morning and heading homeward.
